Pair of Venetian, Hand Blown Antique Sorbet Glasses
Circa 1850, this intricate pair of sorbet glasses exemplifies the craftsmanship and beauty that comes from the islands of Venice. Each hand-blown glass features a different color on the urn-like ears: one in deep burgundy and one in royal blue. Gold leaf is included on the shaft as well as on the free-floating glass loops in the handles. Although they could be used today for a special occasion, we feel these delicate glasses make an excellent addition to a decorative glass collection. They display nicely in a vitrine!
