I imagine it would be difficult to determine how much of each day involves sitting.  I would wager we spend the better part of our waking hours in the sitting position.  This thought brings us to these wonderful antique French Louis XV style bergére chairs!  If one is destine to sitting for so many hours, why not sit in style and comfort?  These chairs easily accomplish both criteria.

A bergére chair is an enclosed upholstered French armchair with an upholstered back and armrests.  It is the “enclosed” part of the chair lends a feeling of warmth and overall comfort.  The “style” of this chair comes from the elegantly hand carved details in the arms and cabriole legs.  These chairs will provide comfort and pride for decades to come due to the strong wood pegged construction.
